Transferring your Apple ID to the EASD domain

On May 8th, Technology Services enabled a setting to designate all Apple accounts using @etownschools.org email addresses as managed and owned by the Elizabethtown Area School District. 

• If you HAVE NOT used your district email address to create an AppleID / Apple Account, you should not be affected by this change.
   
• If you HAVE used your @etownschools.org email address to create an Apple account, such as for your MacBook or a district-issued iPhone, that account will need to be transferred to EASD for management. When we activate this setting, you should receive an email from Apple notifying you that the process has begun. Technology Services will also send a follow-up email with detailed instructions on how to proceed.

Your Apple ID must be transferred by June 7, 2025 or it will be automatically transferred to a personal account with a temporary email address. You will then need to select a new email address.

Select transfer or keep

You will be prompted to select to transfer your Apple ID to a work account or keep it as a personal account.

Select Transfer to a work account.

Acknowledge the change to your subscriptions and purchases. Click Continue.

Proceed to transfer to a work account. Click Transfer and sign out.

Transfer successful confirmation page displays. Click Done.
