Purpose

Zoom is a video conferencing platform that allows people to connect online through video calls, enabling them to see and speak to each other even when apart. Zoom's enhanced features like screen sharing, virtual whiteboards, the ability to conduct discussions, and even hold group activities in breakout rooms create a virtual classroom where teaching and learning can happen. While Zoom has a web browser interface, the Zoom application can be downloaded and installed on teacher's computers for a more feature-rich experience with better performance and access to additional features.
