	5	EASD is excited to share a new tool for teachers and students called Securly Classroom. Securly Classroom provides teacher access to certain elements of student Chromebooks while students are in that teacher’s classroom.

	7	With Securly Classroom, teachers can:

	9	* push out websites directly to students’ Chromebooks
	10	* track sites students access during class
	11	* lock student screens
	12	* highlight exemplary student work by sharing it with other students
	13	* send student-specific messages that require acknowledgment
	14	* restrict access to sites that may be useful in some applications but are not necessary at the time
	15	* measure student progress by viewing Chromebook screens

	17	Securly Classroom alerts students when teachers are using it, and teachers can only access student Chromebooks when students are connected to our EASD WiFi and in their classrooms.
