| 3 | Students can install approved Chrome extensions from the **[[Chrome Web Store>>https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions]]**. To easily find apps and extensions approved for EASD students, students need to click on "For Etownstudents" in the left navigation menu. The "For Etownstudents" menu is only visible to students logged into the Chrome with their "etownstudents.org" account. Neither teachers nor parents/guardians will see it. Students will only be allowed to install extensions that are approved and will receive a denied message if trying to install any other extensions. | ||

2.4 | 9 | Chromebook apps are now available to download through the Google Play Store instead of the Chrome Web Store. The Google Play Store is pinned to the shelf at the bottom of each Chromebook for easy access. If students unpin the Play Store app from the tray, it can be found in the Launcher menu at the lower left corner of the display. |

| 13 | When the Play Store opens, approved apps will be visible and contain a notation of the ones that are already installed. Students may install any of the approved apps in the Play Store. Click the icon and then click **Install**. The apps take a few miniutes to install and can be found in the Launcher menu afterwards. | ||
