3 Please review the information in this document to learn about the changes to this summer’s Chromebook collection and distribution process.

Christine Sklareski 1.2 7 **At the Chromebook collection in May, students in grades 4 and 8 will turn in their current Chromebooks and at the same time receive their new Chromebooks.** This process will eliminate the need for families to pick up new Chromebooks over the summer. Keep in mind that new Chromebooks will only be issued upon the return of their previous device.

11 * **Students in grades 4 and 8** **will turn in their current Chromebooks and receive new, updated devices at the same time.** Be sure your student takes their Chromebook to school on the designated date so they can pick up their new device:
12 ** **Grade 4:** Wednesday, May 21, 2025 with homerooms.
13 ** **Grade 8:** Monday, May 19, 2025 with Science class.
14 * **Graduating seniors** are required to turn in their Chromebooks when they pick up cap and gowns for graduation on Monday, June 02, 2025.
15 * **All students who are unenrolling from the district:** turn in Chromebooks on their last day of school.

17 **AS A REMINDER: There will be NO summer Chromebook distribution and all students in grades 2 through 11 will store their Chromebooks at home this summer..**

56 Technology Services will supply the names of any seniors who did not turn in their Chromebooks by the end of the collection day to the High School Office.
57 STORING CHROMEBOOKS AT HOME:
58 All students in grades 2 through 11
Christine Sklareski 1.2 59 Students in grades 2 through 11 must take the complete Chromebook package (itemized above) home during the summer. Those students will be using the same device in the 25-26 school year.
Christine Sklareski 1.1 60 Summer Storage: Best practices for storing Chromebooks should be followed when Chromebooks are not used for instructional purposes over the summer.
61 Between now and the last day of school, students should contact Technology Services if:
62 The student ID label and asset tags have come off the Chromebook
63 There is no longer a label in the carry case clear pocket
64 The Chromebook is damaged or not working in any way

Christine Sklareski 1.2 67 Students who may be experiencing Chromebook issues should seek help now by opening a support ticket via the online support system, IncidentIQ. Every student has an account and can log in with their district login credentials.
68 Students in grades 3-12 having trouble accessing IncidentIQ may visit the Student Tech Offices for support in the Bear Creek, Middle School, and High School before the end of the school year.
Christine Sklareski 1.1 69 Parents and teachers may submit tickets for student Chromebook support also.
70 Please Note: Access to support through Technology Services will be limited over the summer months.
